Slot missions can be a great method to get gear, weapons and much more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that lets you bring guns into an operation. Some people use it to help them attain certain goals, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Some prefer having the extra pistol as an extra weapon to close the gap. If you are using this slot, it is important to keep in mind that you'll need to click the appropriate pistol category button, like the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, to select the appropriate category. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon in the event that it is in the slot.
Slot for items that are smuggled
The smuggled items slot an excellent feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but could be improved. It's currently designed to resemble the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices to weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items can be found in hidden places around the map. They can be picked up at anytime. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is a function available in short-term missions that allow players to gain access to different starting points as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. These planning options increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for each task.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, leading to the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max to select new equipment until the old items are taken away or space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They offer an increase in inventory space to complete challenging missions. Because many of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to get the most inventory slots in the game.
Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) can only use one Gear Slot.

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot and get them back later.
These pickups are especially useful if you have to pass through a frisk in the course of the mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise trigger suspicion. You are only able to hide one item in a pickup location.
This DLC includes new contracts for security and asset protection to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and other items. Once you have reached the mission marker you can identify a crowd when you arrive.
